Fuq'n Vinyl Pricing & Record Grading Guide

We carefully clean, test and grade our vinyl records...

to bring you the best quality for a reasonable price. We use the Goldmine Record Grading Guide to assess the value and apply a very conservative eye to each record. The Fuq’n Vinyl sticker on each record indicates the “grade of the vinyl / grade of the cover”. In many cases, the record may be in better condition than the grade we’ve applied. Please do not open records that are sealed!

Mint (M)

Perfect Condition. As a reseller, we will never use this rating.

Near Mint (NM)

Nearly perfect condition. We reserve this rating for sealed, unopened records that only have minor shelf wear from handling. It is assumed that an unopened vinyl is in perfect condition.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

There may be a couple of minor concerns that keep it from being NM. Vinyl may show some light wear or scuffs but still sounds great. The cover may show some minor wear or have some discoloration or sticker residue. Inserts and sleeves could have slight wear.

Very Good (VG)

You can still listen to the record, but it appears used and has some wear or light scratches. The cover may show obvious signs of wear, writing and creases but not overwhelming.

Good (G)

We will seldom have a vinyl record at this grade. There may be a cover from time-to-time with a G rating but we would ensure the vinyl is VG or better before selling.
